It is difficult for me to leave Sarajevo. This city is for me the reflection of Europe I live: multicultural, multiethnic, multilingual. Your city, much like Brussels, where I live, is a city of crossroads. If Europe loses these crossroads it will become substantially impoverished. I don’t know if what I say I say is clear to you, but you can’t imagination how much I admire you all, Muslim, Serb or Croat, for your dignity during these times, for your fierce spirit if resistance and for the string resolution with which you refuse to let die the spirit of Sarajevo.
